Becoming a WCPS Vendor

To become an approved WCPS vendor:

1. Carefully read and complete the Non-Debarment Acknowledgement then email back to us at  [email protected].

2. If your company is not already registered on, please register now at is free to register.

3. Create an account on our website at  Within that registration we require:

     - Email addresses for your References

     - Upload a current W9

     - Upload a current Certificate of Insurance.  Vendor shall procure and keep in force the following required insurance coverages:   

A. Commercial General Liability Insurance at limits of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence for claims arising out of bodily injuries or death, and property damages, subject to a minimum limit of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) aggregate. Such insurance shall include contractual liability insurance. 

B. Business Automobile Liability at limits of not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence for all claims arising out of bodily injuries or death and property damages. The insurance shall apply to any owned, non-owned, leased, or hired automobiles used in the performance of this Agreement. 

C. Workers’ Compensation coverage as required by the State of Maryland, as well as any similar coverage required for this work by applicable Federal or “other state’s” state law.

Additional Remarks MUST read

“The Board of Education of Washington County and its elected and appointed officials, agents, employees, and authorized volunteers shall be named as additional insureds on the Service Provider's commercial general liability, professional liability, and the umbrella excess liability or excess liability policies, if required herein, with respect to liability arising out of the services provided under this Contract by Service Provider.”
